Phantasmagoric castles and abysses of dreams were emerging in my visions like real-life chimaeras
Ready to entice my attention with their scents of oblivion
Comforting my trepidations wasn’t easy
Mostly, when the dread of the sunlight forced me to close my eyes and rely on my imagination
Absurdities were part of my nighttime routine, made of fresh rain showers and visits to the nocturnal flower gardens.
It was like there was no beginning or end
In that fantastic realm, I had reset the time
And now there wasn’t a specific time any longer willing to damage my phantasmagoric castles
The trepidation of the wait for my dreams to come true became my obstinate ritual
I couldn’t manage my irresponsible tendency to embrace illusions, but I was sure I couldn’t escape it
And so I continued to fly in the wonderful sky of my fantasies
Romances didn’t upset me as long as they were confined to the garden of the enchantments
Incredibly, I was dreaming about love and detachment, conquest and defeat
Although the bitter taste of the night dew reminded me of the ephemerality of my yearnings
Even when I cherished my blissful dreams the most
I was left with nothing but ancient books and withered flowers
The enchanting bouquets of the night had captivated me, while I could catch a glimpse of phantasmagoric castles and fabulous dragons
Dizzy and bewildered, I explored the night with all its marvels and mysteries beyond my imagination
Softly, the twilight breeze stroked my face, reminding me that I had to abandon myself to my destiny
However much it was arduous to let my anguish fall into the abyss of oblivion
I embraced the new journey in a spellbinding realm of magic and phantasmagoric castles
Knowing in my heart that everything was but a mere chimaera dwelling in my enchanted dreams.
