  • A Dismal Obscurity

    A Dismal Obscurity

A dismal obscurity silently descended over the nighttime in the garden of secret and forbidden desires. Once again, the storm had fulfilled its promise to erase ancient memories and delusional hopes from the realm of fantasies and chimaeras. The nights followed each other like a sequence of fables without any beginning or end. All the flowers withdrew from the tempest’s thunder, leaving soaked soil filled with decay and fragments of burning flames. The bitterness of the magic potions that I had to swallow in my frantic existence turned my heart into a heavy stone to carry through nights of solitude and restlessness. Flares of anguish burst in the nighttime while the stars watched me closely like a bizarre creature, who was unworthy of inhabiting that enchanted place filled with wild eccentricities. The freezing wind was so fiercely cold and violent that I could not remain standing for even a moment, reminding me of my fragility and transience. The more unbearable truths demanded to be revealed the more I shrank from discovering them in the great mirror of dilemmas. No matter how much I wanted to cast off all those painful and demoralising memories, they appeared as menacing shadows wherever I went. A dismal obscurity had cast a spell all over the night and no portal could have conducted me to other surroundings since my fate had decreed that I could never depart from the realm of ill-omened nightmares and indulgent sufferings. The art of suffering had become my delight during those harrowing nights of burning tears. The stupor had not even allowed me a moment to relinquish my role as a dreamer of lost, fragmented dreams. The eternal darkness could have been magnificent each instant that a dismal obscurity had claimed my heart solely for the mere purpose of making me feel in each part of my body the misery of the loss of all my dreams while the stars and the moon mocked me with their looks of contempt.

  • The Portal Of Oblivion

    The Portal Of Oblivion

The portal of oblivion stood in the garden of secret desires
Castaway as I was in the dizziness of the loss and grief
I strove to grab some earth mixed with mud to feel the emptiness of that desolate place
Where only ghosts dared to inhabit during the desolate nights of a summer
Silence was disrupted by the steady wind, bringing some fresh relief to the tired trees
While the moonlight rays glimmered over the flowerbeds

No surprise could have overcome my quietness
Now that I was embracing my golden seclusion
Outlying the fatuous and polluted world of mortals
Lost in the mangroves of my worries and thoughts
After fear had left its imprints everywhere
Wishing I could leave my past self behind the portal of oblivion once I had traversed it
I felt like no tragedy could ever happen to me
Although I was willing to take the risk
Since I was used to living in the uncertainty

I fell into a deep slumber, and I dreamed gibberish
I felt deep inside that I couldn’t have protected myself from my fate
For everything I was destined to was beyond my imagination
Like a wanderer without a destination, I couldn’t discern where I really wanted to be because I couldn’t know what I was truly feeling inside my heart
It was like I came to be an inanimate statue made of ice and crystal

The more I wanted to know, the more I lost my memories
In the effort to survive all the storms of life and the wicked tragedies
I have transformed into a storm myself
Powerful yet ephemeral like a summer night raindrop
My heart has turned into a crystal gem, and I couldn’t feel any sensation of frostiness or warmth
For I was an evanescent creature of that realm of dreams and coveted chimaeras
    Beyond the portal of oblivion.

  • Entangled In My Own Disquiet

    Entangled In My Own Disquiet

    Entangled in my own disquiet
I found myself in a state of confusion
Collapsing into a vortex of chaos and despair
I might have been able to overcome my fears
But I was not capable of escaping the loneliness

There were no mirrors in my secret dwelling
Where candles and shadows were my loyal confidantes
And an absolute silence was soothing me like a soft lullaby
While my sighs hid tears of grief

Thinking of myself as a tiny leaf in an immense ocean
I was surrendered to fate, ready to be swallowed up in the abyss of oblivion
Lost in a turmoil of obsessions and dismay

Many times I wished to escape from the labyrinth of my fantasies
But deceptions were always following my trail
    I knew no serenity
Instead, I was condemned to wander endlessly

Time didn’t know me as I existed in a surreal dimension
I belonged to the realm of darkness and obliteration
And I was a victim of the impetuous winds of the long winter night

I felt the discomfort of reality
It was like wearing a sumptuous dress made of thorns and quills
I lived as a doll locked in an airtight box

No creature could ever perceive me
No creature could ever hear my sobs and sighs
No mirror could reflect my image

I was inevitably entangled in my own disquiet
Although the stillness around me pacified my soul
I didn’t feel any urgency to rescue myself
Indeed, my drowsy heart couldn’t perceive anything anymore

I had no longing, no desire left
I’ve never been in the garden of devotion and love
I’ve always been shrouded in clouds of invisibility
Always surrounded by candles and spiderwebs
Lost in a cloud of incense and blooming night flowers

  • A Phantasmagoria of Mystery

    A Phantasmagoria of Mystery

A phantasmagoria of mystery pervaded the realm of dreams,
Where delights cast their magic spells,
Glowing like stars in the infinite darkness,
The darkness of rationality and consciousness,
Whose heavy shadows draped over the imagination that dared wander.

Like warm raindrops falling upon open flower blooms,
Passions moistened every blossom of roses with their dew of lust,
Each petal glistening, saturated with feverish desire,
And in the silent sonata, the blossoms swayed,
Unfurling to a breeze that whispered forbidden rhymes.

Oblivion and derealisation welcomed every utopia in this exquisite alcove,
An alcove of lush gardens veiled in mist,
Where roses revealed secrets to the midnight sky,
And the aura, decadent with intoxicating scents,
Lured dreamers further into hallucinations that could not be resisted.

In this realm of opulence, reality blurred, dissolving at the edge of darkness,
Where dawn dared not disturb the exquisite slumber,
And beneath the star-laden canopy, sweet illusions swirled wildly,
Weaving dreams with threads of silk and shadows,
A dance of light and dark, of ecstasy and fervour, entangled forever.

In the gardens of legends, where phantoms ruled,
Each shadow became a wraith of lost desires, drifting, unchained,
Every sigh was heavy with the scent of roses,
And every heartbeat transformed into an echo, fading into the invisible,
An imaginary domain where time dissolved, leaving only the eternal dusk.

A phantasmagoria of mystery happened to be in this enchanted universe,
Where illusions and falsehoods became reality.
A bizarre and fantastic scenario where remembrances did not exist anymore,
And dreams were the irrefutable truth.

Within this unearthly garden of forbidden reveries,
Ethereal spectres wove silent trails through the air, invisible.
Guiding the dreamers and visionaries toward metaphysical revelations,
Past the boundaries of the known and intelligible.

The roses, drenched in twilight’s honeyed essence,
Released their secrets in whispers soft and low,
As if mourning for a life they’d never lived,
And petals drifted down like fallen hopes,
Into pools of ink, where starlight’s glow had ceased.

Beneath a moon veiled in shadows’ dark embrace,
Figures waltzed in silence, spectres of delight,
Invisible, though stirring in every pulse, every heartbeat,
Moving in time to a song unheard, unfathomable,
A hymn to worlds that only slumber can comprehend.

In this phantasmagoric realm, within the depths of the midnight veil,
Where dawn was but a distant tale, lost,
The dreamers sank deeper, surrendering entirely,
To realms beyond the reach of morning’s light,
Forever wandering in the labyrinth of dusk.
