  • The Abyss of Death

    The Abyss of Death

    The Abyss of Death
    by Esther Elizabeth Racah

Then came the abyss of death, deep and wide,
Where all must fall, where none could hide.
The abyss of death, it called to stars,
    A silent plea, eternally.
In that endless chasm, the longing was laid to sleep.
    The void embraced lost regret,
    And whispered, “Here, soon forget.”

The cold was vast, the dark complete,
And close behind, it hurt so endearing.
For death, it took it all,
Secret longings for lost hopes fell.
The void consumed what life remained,
And left behind the husks of pain.
A hollow shell of what was,
    Now drifting in eternity.

Finally, in that dark, quiet peace,
A welcome end, a soft release.
The chains of life that bound the soul,
Were broken as control was lost.
And though the blackness held tight,
There was no fear; no light was seen.
For, in the end, all must face,
    The emptiness of death’s embrace.

The abyss keeps waiting for every heart,
To draw in, to tear apart.
What once was love, or hope, or fear,
It was swallowed by the depths so near.
No longer was there a yearning to see,
For death has stolen that away.
And in the abyss of death, wide and vast,
Peace and rest were finally found.

In that abyss, where none return,
The fires of life no longer burn.
All that was, now shadows thin,
A spectre lost in an endless spin.
    Memories that once were clear,
Are fading echoes, far from here.
    The void cradled every thought,
Until there was no more to be sought.

And so it sailed, no longer bound,
By mortal coils or earthly sound.
No time, no space, no fear, no care,
Just an endless night, just empty air.
What lay beyond was not known,
For in this abysm, growth ceased.
The abyss of death claimed the final breath,
And there, the stillness of the end was found.

  • Vanishing Mysteries

    Vanishing Mysteries

Vanished mysteries faded in the twilight’s embrace,
Where secrets lingered and shadows interlaced.
Legends of dreams veiled in sullen clouds,
Lost in the aether, where they drifted out.

In the stillness of the night, where silence reigned,
    Whispers dissolved into quiet vestiges.
Once vivid scenes were now ghostly thin,
Slipped away as darkness drew in.

By the moon’s cold glare, where shadows ruled over their realm,
Mysteries swayed in their final clasp.
Glimmers of truth, now just out of reach,
Hid in the night’s darkened breach.

    Forsaken alleys and hidden doors,
    Enigmas lost on unseen shores.
    Bygone mysteries left behind,
At the mercy of wandering winds.

Pale sighs in the cool night air,
Told of truths no longer there.
    Phantom stories once held dear,
Faded away as dawn drew near.

In archaic forests, where night prevailed,
    Paradoxes lurking along hidden paths.
    Moonlight cast its silver sheen,
On vanished tales and broken dreams.

    Old ruins, riddles long past,
Secrets kept but never to last.
    Mysteries cast in shadow’s hold,
In the halls where dreams grew cold.

In the fog where silence assembled,
Lay the end of vanished lanes.
    Mysteries lingered, then were gone,
In the fleeting touch of dawn.

Through ancient woods and misty moors,
    Mysteries slipped through unseen doors.
Were lost to sight into the night’s embrace,
    Leaving whispers in their trace.

In the tranquillity where shadows danced,
    Ancient sighs drifted away.
Each nook held a tale so frail,
Of vanished dreams and secrets pale.

In the night where secrets come to an end,
Rested the mysteries, now at peace.
    Disappeared in twilight’s seam,
    Lost forever in a dream.

  • A Life Made Of Thorns

    A Life Made Of Thorns

A life made of thorns and wounds and from whom I could ever be the same
Sometimes things seem a happy game
Where there is so little to learn
My heart will be a dream of gold and pearls
Not having any idea of what it is worth to keep
In the deception that will always be better at dusk
    From my heart and mind
As I seek to be pure and untamed
Always striving to endure the pains

    A life made of thorns
In this universe, I see only nothing but evil lies
No longer are you in my heart in any form
    Desires and love
    Unveested and possessed
And I am filled with a bitter grudge
    Wearing a new fire dress
The flowers are still there in the garden
Pretending that the delusions never arrived
All the past thoughts fled too quickly

A life made of thorns and gold
When everything is lost till a dream comes
In an eternal journey where I was left to survive
My mind is concealed to the sun growing old
Every regret has age and shines just like light
Finding every single glow in my mind and soul
It looks like everything is secret in my fate
I can feel the peace of mind and stillness
There is no fear when there is no hope to acquire
The magic of exquisite and petrified words is bound to my soul

A life made of thorns and stones
The stars linger over flares and bursts
In the dungeon where I reside, I can hold the sight of my soul
No longer bound to any mediocre clasp
Passions are so brief and shallow
A sheer memory seized my heart
A feeling of pure desire and bliss melts on my lips
Nothing but loyal dread brings dreams into my universe
Sore reflections and unsteadiness of life
Love kept me blind and meek until I undisclosed a new belief.

  • A Gloomy Sorrow

    A Gloomy Sorrow

    A gloomy sorrow
    A gentle grief
In a world made of pride
    The soul will never win
It seems as if no one can be able to love and dreams
Patience and happiness are rare gifts to be obtained with pain
When only desire can find peace
I used to learn my true emotions of mine
    The wisdom becomes a bliss
    Truth is hidden everywhere
Everything on earth comes to an end

A gloomy sorrow sweet for all the hours
At the sound of the darkness spinning around the night
Few faint glistening hopes find their way through the abyss of dismay
It would be a joy to love my heart
But sorrow comes from a long time ago
And yet, in life, a great beauty shines
Time does arrive travelling with no destination
    My soul had forgotten words
    A little fear becomes mine
And my soul is full of pain

    A gloomy sorrow of loneliness
The soul is smiling during the day
In vain, a million feelings were meant to die
    Whole memories belonging to me
    Happiness is born to die
Tomorrow a great fate could last forever
    A treasure to be kept
While the future loses its feelings
Bliss would hide in a place beyond eternity
    Being confined and helpless
    Sobbing in a restless night

    A gloomy sorrow
When the memories were never the same
    A dull despair and delight
    Life and death
Far away from my mind and thoughts
The light and shades of my soul shine
When the eyes are dark and cold
The flames of hope grow fast
Every time I write, a little dream manifests
Like a rose into the breath of the universe
When they call my name, I strive

A gloomy sorrow in the night
    Longing to be seen
But a heavy cold sadness falls down
A white sun of light is glowing
And every ray of sunshine has blossomed from every side
Just as soon as the clouds fly through the air
The beauty of joy crosses the whole world
Heavy thoughts have drifted into my soul
The remembrance of a distant way I have travelled
I feel a longing to comfort my thoughts
I shall be loved by my anguish and wait no longer.

  • An Unempirical Realm

    An Unempirical Realm

    An unempirical realm
    As a characteristic of nature
Poetry is an environment of emotions
It is pretty far from pleonexia
    But extremely close to lavishness
    Wisdom is an ethereal essence
Created to live a life of bliss and joy
    It is unfathomable and conceivable
Nature is in everything and nothingness
    Time continues until darkness end
A day lost in hope is lost forever
    Exhaustion of delight and lust
An honour of anguish and hopelessness

    An unempirical realm of mystery
Where the mind is detached and unrestrained
    A lifetime becomes an instant
    Time is unrepeatable
    The world is peaceless
Recycled wounds are made of illusions
Grasping the endless void of emotions futilely
In a universe of solitons and darkness
The emptiness becomes glorified and celebrated
A single time of consciousness is enough
The cosmic waves and oceans are made of ideas
Everything gets lost in time and forsaken
    Forgotten and eternal worlds

    An unempirical realm of nature
    Enchanted without any meaning
    When every word is denied
    Seeking the beginning
    With rare selfishness and envy
    An intelligible system of life
A single extraordinary and unknown universe
    Among the several ones
    In acts of worldly senses
Escaping the sight of light and reality
The realm of the depths of life
Nothing to achieve and reach by
But only the silence of peace

    An unempirical realm
    A landscape of old times
The egotism of truth and denial
The void of love and greed
In search for a space and dimension
    By the inescapable soul enchantment
With so many fallen dreams and precariousness
When I perceive the shadows of the stars
Struggling with every kind of achievement
A devotion which was lost and recovered
Holding a vision meant no sympathy
The essences of life and death are enclosed
With so many spasms of a new creation.

  • A Frail And Lonely Dismay

    A Frail And Lonely Dismay

A frail and lonely dismay of the night
Tinged like a tiny soul of light
At the edges of the universe
    Waiting for its memorable sight
Standing alone in a silent deadlock
The heart that seems so close to being so sad
There is no way more and our lives and joy
Never begin what is about never to die
Love is created as an eternal wisdom

    A frail and lonely dismay
    In silent long-moving years
Made of pains that cannot be revealed
Would it be a dream to lose?
A utopia that the world has never known
I had looked back in stillness
    The quietness of some tree
    Where all the dreams abound
And idyll will never cease to succumb
    To the grief and solitude

    A frail and lonely dismay
I’ll never know who I was
But only the sadness I feel
    And where are my vestiges
To be hurled away in the cold blast
    Again and nevermore
    A sudden fear reappears
Bleeding tears are far as memories
And now I do not need anymore
No doubt, once happiness got lost.

    A frail and lonely dismay
In life, a defeat will never be new
But I still live embracing habits
Until love might give strength to convey
    Life comes today in time
    And everything must fade away
Sweet songs of hope and dismay
    Everything pierces a feeble heart
Being another daytime like another year

    A frail and lonely dismay
    It should be a phantom
    Descending in the fleeting night
    Twixt its own soul’s delight
It might drive me too fierce
As well as it may appear
    Afar
    Like in a vision
    Before it fades again
Whenever life is at peace with the truth
So, no longer there would be an end
As long as every dash would be gone.

  • Time Has Slipped Away

    Time Has Slipped Away

Time has slipped away as fast as pouring rain
In the dark and sunny sky
Emptiness and fragility are made in a storm
There’s sunshine on every side of your nest
The wind sings through the grass with warm trees
In snowstorms in winter, I have thrived
Time has slipped away as fast as pouring rain
As the world should have a chance to exist
The sun is bright, always more everywhere
Rocks of storms hit the morning as it changes
    Not so far
    Life was created before memories
A loss shall come into every dream
And nevermore were the birds singing
In a world that might be born again today
Time has slipped away as fast as pouring rain
Raindrops were similar to a breeze sweeping the leaves of summer
And when autumn will change its essence
The daytime might not be warm forever
It shall dwell, but not in this fate
That does only come to see night again
in a lost day when memories were born
    Memories become shattered
whenever tears could have been spent on death,
Not enough before all happiness was lost
Even if I never had back my sorrows again
Time has slipped away as fast as pouring rain
Like an early spring day of the year
    The time had disappeared
Whenever the wind and the clouds move toward my eyes
Every pointless fear is so far beyond me
My dreams can stand glum but cannot be seen or remembered again
Before I aim to be alive
Timeless visions are made of unperceivable illusions and phantasmagorias
Time has slipped away as fast as pouring rain
And remarkable beauty resides in true peace
Whilst a reckless creation is an obscure snare
Trying to climb on illusory and fierce mirrors
Which are sliding doors to deceitful opportunities.

  • Trapped In A Deafening Silence

    Trapped In A Deafening Silence

    Trapped in a deafening silence
    The night is already gone,
Once everything that once had been in the past
    Has been sealed;
I was asleep, and I stood alone,
Each day, it might be gone.
    The rain will begin again.
Scripted, it seems, but then inside me
    All my heart is asleep,
    Forever again alone,
Never even one day into its life
    Being forgotten.
    A dream…
    But nothing ever heard.
Trapped in a deafening silence of the wind.
When everything goes in the aether…
I am coming up into the darkness.
    Leaving everything behind me
Where nothing is the same anymore.
As I am dreaming the sunlight at night
    I wanted to escape
    Like walking in darkness,
    Towards my solitude
    Never coming back,
    I would be gone.
    Trapped in a deafening silence.
There is no time for finding a place to live,
A lasting peace of mind and bliss.
Just wonder how little of the universe is known,
One will still wish for the end.
    Trapped in a deafening silence
Only the sound of the emptiness
And never being aware that it doesn’t exist
A far better fate than it is
And what life was able to alter the course of happening
At any time, there’s a way
    Certainly, a mental tragedy
    Over the world of itself
    It is way too far.
With nowhere to go when you can realize,
it has been impossible as I could
I am in another world in the end.

  • A Dismal Feast

    A Dismal Feast

    A Dismal Feast

The insane dismay of the veiled truth
When everything is shattering under the pressure of the infamous time
None can claim a beloved treasure
Except for the cathartic destruction of material essence
A dismal feast of desires and intuitions
Slowly, enduring anguish penetrates the wandering souls
A sublime soft pain tears every spirit into infinite and eternal fragments
In a perpetual motion that invariably affects the universal peace
A metaphorical lullaby of bliss and pain awakes all the luminaries
Inducing an ecstatic joy and an immortal stillness of the unconsciousness.

  • The Blankness Of A Broken Mirror

The Blankness Of A Broken Mirror

The Blankness Of A Broken Mirror

Pale shadows reflect in a broken mirror
Solitude gasps in the presence of silence
Tumultuous visions of a coveted desire are scattered into nothingness
The emptiness of the nightmares’ abyss swallows every hope and dream
Every so often, darkness is beauty in disguise, hiding in the invisible
The mystery of an unmentionable truth belongs to a time that never existed
    Broken mirrors reflect falsified spoils
Obliviousness destroys every memory that becomes part of the void
Souls in exile wander without peace
In search of what they have eternally coveted
Chaos dwells among the multitude of soul fragments
Distorted images of souls are reflected in deformed mirrors
Amorphous perceptions dissolve in the evanescence
The distressing instant of a distant tumult blends in with the beauty of tragedy.
